Girl Happy (MGM 1965) - Official Trailer
Переглядів 2,8 тис.5 років тому
Having watched this beautifully innocent but still funny and entertaining picture of an America that no longer exists I thought I'd upload the trailer in the best quality availabe on UA-cam. If you get a chance to watch it do so, you won't be disappointed.
Scene from Elvis On Tour (1972) - Mayor greeting Elvis on arrival in Roanoke
Переглядів 37 тис.8 років тому
This is another favorite scene of mine from the Golden Globe Award winning documentary "Elvis on Tour" (1972) by Pierre Adidge and Robert Abel. Elvis is super relaxed and in excellent mood when on his arrival in Roanoke, Virginia, on April 11th, 1972, he is greeted by Mayor Roy Webber ("You goin' to play 'I ain't nothin' but a Hound Dog'??") on his plane. Webber presents Elvis with a toy guitar...
Elvis Presley - Scene from "Jailhouse Rock" (MGM 1957)
Переглядів 201 тис.11 років тому
55 years ago today, on November 8th, 1957, Elvis' third movie "Jailhouse Rock" opened nationwide. On Variety's National Box Office Survey it appears at #3 and becomes the fourteenth most successful film of 1957 and pretty impressive if you keep in mind that it started at the end of the year. " By 1969, the film's box office gross in the United States and Canada was similar to that of "The Wizar...
Elvis Presley - After Show Party, August 1970

This little video gives you the perfect "fly on the wall"-feeling being there with Elvis in his private suite at the International Hotel Las Vegas. Cary Grant and Sammy Davis Jr. among others can be spotted at Elvis' after show party following the opening night of his "Summer Festival" engagement on August 10th, 1970.
Elvis Presley - "How The Web Was Woven" (rehearsal, 1970)
Переглядів 87 тис.11 років тому
During rehearsals for his upcoming Vegas engagement starting August 10th, 1970, at the International Hotel Las Vegas, Elvis is sitting alone at the piano reminiscing about his recent recoding of "How The Was Woven". MGM's cameras are there to capture the moment while filming for their concert documentary "Elvis - That's The Way It Is" directed by Denis Sanders.
Elvis Presley - "Swing Down, Sweet Chariot" (1968/69) [HD]

This scene is special in a way since it presents Elvis on stage accompanied by real musicians. Only very few of his movie performances featured real musicians. In fact the last one to do so was "Viva Las Vegas" five years earlier. And you'd have to go back seven years more to see him perform with Scotty Moore, Bill Black, DJ Fontana and The Jordanaires in 1957's "Loving You" and "Jailhouse Rock...
Elvis Presley - Bridge Over Troubled Water (April 1972) [HD]

Somewhat celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Elvis' triumphant return to New York City after a 15 year absence in 1972, this is the version of the Simon & Garfunkel classic that comes closest to the one performed at Madison Square Garden on June 9th, 1972. Having witnessed Elvis' reading of his song, Paul Simon is said to have noted: "That's it, we might as well all give up now." This version h...
Elvis Presley - It's Still Here (alt. takes 1, 2, 3)
Переглядів 35 тис.12 років тому
Eight hours into a recording session that started at 6 p. m. on May 19th, 1971, in Nashville, Elvis is sitting alone at the piano at 2 o'clock in the morning singing one of his favorites: Ivory Joe Hunter's "It's Still Here". He's been playing this for years at home planning to record it. This night, and understanding the magic of the moment, producer Felton Jarvis turns on the tape machine...
Elvis Presley - "Never Been to Spain" (1972)
Переглядів 276 тис.12 років тому
Although an awesome performance, Elvis' reading of Hoyt Axton's "Never Been to Spain" isn't nearly as popular as his cover versions of "Proud Mary" and "Polk Salad Annie". That's pretty much a shame because what Elvis makes of what in Axton's original version is a pretty simple country song is amazing. He adds a little R & B here and a little (country) rock there, it has something of a big show...
Elvis Presley - Scene from "Follow that Dream" (Mirisch Company 1962)

Another fine little scene from what has become one of my top 3 favorite movies by Elvis. A straight comedy at last! His only one. And a real movie. With two times Academy Award nominee Arthur O'Connell by his side Elvis not only delivers one of the best performances of his career but also proves true acting talent. I absolutely love the moment when Holly believes she's had an idea when it's act...
Elvis Presley - Polk Salad Annie (Elvis on Tour, 1972) [HD]

There's a version of "Polk Salad Annie" here on UA-cam that says "Best picture and sound quality". So I thought I'd put on the REAL "best picture and sound quality" version :) of this high gear performance from the 1972 Golden Globe award winning rockumentary "Elvis on Tour". To me in 1972 Elvis was the ultimate rock star and the greatest one man show on earth. I absolutely love his slightly wo...

That hair had a life of its own.😀😀 Elvis forever,
What a shame, he only sang the first phrase of the hymn. What a Friend We Have in Jesus , he could have recorded this hymn.
Unique/Einzigartig, terrific/grandios, unmistakable/unverkennbar! 👌
that man was special he was a once in a lifetime entertainer
Ist Elvis nicht ein Traum Von Freiheit Licht und liebe 💎💎💎💞💎💞💞💞💞💞
Elvis König der Herzen und den Glauben an Gott 🙏🙏🙏💞💞💞💞💞💞💎💎💞💎💎💎
HE WAS TRIEDER OF SINGING OR TRIEDER OF DOING DRUGS ?
ELVIS COULDN'T OF BERN THAT STUPID OF A FOOL HE WAS PAYING BODYGUARD THINKING THEN WAS FRIENDS THEN KILL HIM !!
No hubo coreografias como las de Viva Las Vegas. Pero él siempre elegante con su hermosa voz.
I'm an Elvis Fan since 1977, and the fascination for Masterpieces like this never goes bye ❤
If I could time travel I would go to one of his concerts. I really want to have seen him on stage, but sadly that's not possible :/. I did watch the movie in 2022 and it was completely captivating, it was like lucid dreaming to me at least. The colors, the lights, the atmosphere and the shots on Austin Butler's face. God it was amazing honestly.
Goodness gracious I know they've done many father & son movies but he & Emilio need to do one for 2024 .his laugh they both have that laugh .he's the only one I've ever heard did a perfect Kennedy voice .
Miss James is a class of her own.
One of my FAVORITE Elvis movies!❤
Elvis a dejado el edificio 🤭
“And a slave walked behind the king holding a golden crown above his head and whispering a warning in his ear. All glory is fleeting!”
What a bunch of ass kissers he’s surrounded by lol 😅😅😅😅
This is Elvis est un film bricolé enfin a qu' elle ami avont nous en Elvis.
Swing swing swing ❤❤❤
It's so touching how he truly loves Elvis.
Funny thing is that Elvis was naturally Blonde. He dyed his hair black.
Love great soul and blues and Reverend Solomon Burke has always been the best
Pooh Bear!
I like the fact that he only slapped the guy - he had just gotten out of prison for manslaughter, so he's at least holding back killing the guy.
Good Lord! Dabney Coleman the guy with the cigar). Haven’t seen him in anything in ages. Forgot he’s in this movie. Great actor 👏🏻🥰‼️
❤
2024
Grls skn his dk. Too fd up. His so called Friends...I blame them and Elvis himself. Psychiatry 😂

This was my favorite movie Vega Las Vegas the chemistry between Ann Margaret and Elvis were dynamite Ann so sexy built nice 🙂❤️ and Elvis well you know handsome as ever. Wish they could have married each other. Wow 😲
Just watch all his leeches standing there watching him, JE, RD, LF, SW and GK. I can't stand them. If it wasn't for Elvis, they would have been washing cars.
Love this interview. More people should hear this
Great insightful interview.
❤❤
He so nice and i like when he laughs 😅❤ he said really good and true thing about Elvis he so kind and gentle 😊
Elvis was so handsome,I was 14 when he passed I felt my heart hit my feet,I swore when I reached of age I was going to one of his concerts, but I never made it, now that he has passed now every one wants him look like he was a animal,if that was the case,it would of got told way before, people are so hateful, and his so call friends just used him for money and he knew it, Elvis was a lonely man at heart, and very not happy,He was using the pain medicine to cope with life it numed him from his hurt he had in his heart,,so sad
Just a very gifted man in so many ways . We were Blessed to have had him in our life time !
Quiero que pase toda la película de Elvis Presley Jai jaluche rokarol

That smile, whew, beautiful. If there was any man any sexier I don't know who.
Such a great movie, funny and unusual. Elvis was beautiful and sexy. She knew what she had. Ha
